Why do «Peaks» appear?
After carrying out measurement runs on very poor road surfaces (potholes, concrete slabs with protruding sub-sections etc.) «Peaks» (significant upward or downward deflections of the measurement) could be observed in rare cases during the subsequent data evaluation:
This phenomenon was only previously observed after measurements on old military airfields in a very poor condition with simultaneous high speeds (150 km/h upwards). These edges cannot be evaluated in a reasonable manner. We would therefore ask you to ensure that your measurement runs are always carried out on public roads.
